How it works
What renting from us actually involves
Car hire has a reputation, and it was earned. Here is exactly what happens at each stage, including the parts other companies leave until you are at the counter.
Search only what exists
When you enter a branch and your dates, we count the cars actually parked there and subtract the ones already reserved. If a group shows as available, it is available — we do not sell a car we do not have and sort it out at the counter.
One number, from the first screen
Airport surcharge, VAT, basic cover, unlimited mileage and any one-way fee are all inside the price on the results page. Extras are the only thing that can move it, and you add those yourself.
Cover explained in one line each
Three tiers, each with the excess and the deposit printed on it. Pick one and move on. Nobody will try to sell you a different one while you are holding your luggage.
No account, no password
A name, an email and a phone number is all we ask for. Your confirmation email carries a private link that opens the booking whenever you want to change or cancel it.
Fifteen minutes at the desk, not fifty
Because your details are already with us, collection is a licence check, a signature and the keys. Give us your flight number and we hold the car through any delay.
Change your mind at no cost
Cancel free up to 48 hours before pickup, or amend the dates at any time subject to availability. One click, no phone call, no cancellation form.
Things that are genuinely not included
We would rather write this down than have you find out at the desk.
- Fuel you use — the tank goes out full and comes back full
- Tolls, parking and traffic fines during your rental
- The excess on your protection level if the car is damaged
- Extras you tick yourself — child seats, second driver, Wi-Fi
- Damage from wrong fuel, off-road driving or an unnamed driver
Everything else — VAT, airport surcharge, damage and theft cover, unlimited mileage, roadside assistance — is inside the price you were quoted.
